CONRAD WEISER LITTLE SCOUTS CHEERLEADING ASSOCIATION
General Membership Meeting on March 9, 2020
The meeting was called at 6:30 by Kristi Bassetti.
Attendees: Cinnomin Steiger, Christina Gilfert, Kristi Bassetti, and Amy Arnold

A. Reading and Approval of Minutes – Cinnomin Steiger, Melissa Rhyder, and Christina Gilfert
B. Reports of Officers:
a. Treasurer’s Report
a. Our current balance is $14,851.16
i. Catering was deducted.
ii. We are waiting on the head tax and the storage unit to be withdrawn.
b. CWCA- There was an in-person meeting. Jen Byrne’s position of secretary is opening. It can be anyone from any of the clubs that are in CWCA. It does not need to be a board member.
c. BAYCL- The rules of stunting and competition will be changed. ACCAA rules will be used and will be broken up according to the levels.
C. CWCA- Old News:
a. Fundraising- Our new Zumba fundraiser will be March 21 at 9:00 at the Middle School. Both middle and high school squads were invited. The cost is $5 at the door. We are continuing to look into new ideas for fundraising.
b. Use of facilities- All paperwork that has been submitted has been accepted. The banquet paperwork needs to still be submitted. The date is dependent upon BAFYL’s decision on competition and play off dates.
c. Registration- The registration will be open from March 23- April 27. We ordered yard signs from Rock Hound.
D. New News:
a. Registration flyers – The flyers have been updated. Kristi has changed the form so that we will have a one sided sheet.
b. Website- Christina has been working on updating the site. We are hoping to condense the information and eliminate the need for folders. Important papers will be included on the website instead of being handed out in the folders.
c. Uniforms- We are using the flag style uniforms for all game squads. Only the competition girls will use the older uniforms. We will be ordering from Rock Hound and doing a group order. The club will be purchasing the shirts. The parents will be responsible for the skirt fee.
d. Uniform Fitting Day- We will cancel our Uniform Fitting Day which was supposed to be on May 16 due to change in uniforms.
e. Coaches- Kristi will be setting up an outline for expectations such as stunt training, coaches meetings, and board meetings.
f. Music- Kristi would like to purchase music during our next meeting in April 2020.
g. June 6th Clinic- Jen Byrne offered to teach technique and conditioning at the clinic.

Meeting adjourned at 8:30.
